We need your help! We have one week until the BIG DAY. We realize most of our promoting for the conference is through social media (Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, etc). There is a wide audience of passionate health and physical education professionals in the world who do not use social media. We do not want to exclude them from hearing about The #PhysEdSummit 3.0 and the opportunity to experience it!
Here is where you come in. We have written up an email template in hopes you will forward it to your colleagues, administrators, superintendents, professors, friends, coaches and parents. If you can forward one or two emails you can make a difference in the lives of our students. SHAPE America has a slogan titled 50 Million Strong by 2029. There are about 50 million students enrolled in America’s schools. SHAPE America wants the preschoolers of today to graduate from high school with “the knowledge, skills, confidence, desire and opportunities to enjoy healthy, meaningful physical activity” (SHAPE America website).
They are calling us all to action…
In your role as a health and/or physical educator, you are uniquely poised to deliver the benefits of living a physically active and healthy life. By coming together as a profession, we can solidify public support for health and physical education as benefitting current and future generations.
What if we were to make this call to action global? How many youth are there in our world? The #PhysEdSummit 3.0 is a global event. How many children can we positively impact through sharing the #PhysEdSummit with their teachers, administrators, superintendents, professors, friends, coaches and parents?
How can you get involved? All you have to do is click here to access the email template (image above), copy and paste into your draft email, and then send out to necessary stakeholders.

Getting excited for the summit! It is my first and I am wondering how it works…since I cannot be there physically I assume it will be streamed for those like me???? So will it be 24 hours of continuous streaming? Or am I completely out of touch and wrong about the format?
Can you help me by sharing ahead the elementary sessions that are scheduled (3-6 grades esp) and any tech sessions? I have a very tight schedule those days and hope to view as much as possible.

Hi Lisa, in order to participate all you have to do is go to the conference program (go here to access it https://physedagogy.com/physedsummit/). There is a tutorial linked in the conference program that you can watch in order to understand the process of how it all works. Let me know if you need more help. All the sessions are linked in the program and if you click on the title of the session it will take you to the session description and tell you the intended audience. You will also be able to view the sessions later on as all sessions will be archived on our YouTube channel. Hope that helps!
