Collin Brooks

Collin Brooks is a National Board Certified Elementary Physical Educator with a passion for teacher analysis/improvement, incorporating meaningful technology into the physical education classroom, and increasing opportunities for physical activity outside of class. He currently serves as the President of Oregon Society of Health and Physical Educators and the SHAPE Northwest District leadership Council.

Jonathan Jones

Jonathan Jones’ love of teaching first emerged while student teaching at Salisbury University. It was there he learned the importance of innovation, passion, and relationships when interacting with students in physical education. Since graduating in 2007, Jonathan has been teaching at Whitehall Elementary School in Bowie, MD, a suburb of Washington DC. Jonathan believes in giving his students the opportunity to experience unique physical activity, while also developing age specific motor skills and movement forms.

Matt Pomeroy

Matt Pomeroy has been teaching health, physical education, and specially designed physical education since 2004 in Merton, WI. He has been a contributor to PHYSEDagogy since 2013.  Matt has helped organize, implement, and moderate the #PhysEdSummit, publishes The PHYSEDagogy Podcast, and has been accepted to serve on the professional development committee for SHAPE America’s Midwest District.  Matt is a huge proponent of lifetime physical fitness and fitness-related sport activities. Matt enjoys finding, creating, and implementing new activities into the his curriculum every year. He strongly believes that educators must keep things fresh and exciting to keep our students motivated and engaged in physical education, so our students will be fit for life!
